Interaction With Nature

I did propagate a few more plants and it worked for me. I was thinking about the current situation (Corona Virus and breathing problem). Pollution seems under control (due to COVID-19 n Lockdown) as per records. At Least it's better than earlier. However we need fresh Oxygen too. Everyone can not roam around freely in parks, children and our grandparents are the most sensitive people. So, it's better to have plants in our houses. At Least we can grow one plant in each house.

If I recall, a gardener used to visit my house monthly or Bi-Weekly. But it was in my childhood. i never paid much attention to it.

I have been growing plants in normal soil (chikni mitti ) or garden soil. I saw on videos that if you want to grow plants ,you need to have good soil. Add some compost and or put fertilizer in plants after 15 days or so. I personally never bought coco-peat or gardening related belongings.

Jade Plant

So, I bought some Upla (cow dung cake). And collected some garden soil. In plants I bought Curry Patta, Jade plant, Rhoeo plant and bought one more but I'm struggling with the name of that plant. Here I am sharing a pic of that plant, please help me with the name. I checked on google and I randomly asked people in the nursery. No Luck. In Fact I visited 2-3 nurseries but even the gardener did not know about the name. LOL

Don't know the name of the plant

I made some cement pots. And after 2-3 days.i bought a few plastic pots, in 3 sizes.

Small, medium and normal (11”).I bought one medicine (Roger) for plants.

I wanted to give a fresh and elegant look to my plants. I have never done anything like this before, so it was very exciting about trying some DIY. I did paint my gardening pots. Meanwhile they were drying out. It would take a minimum 24 hours to dry. Meanwhile I visited the nursery and bought 30-35 kags of fertilizer. Bought 2-3 packets of coco-peat. Bought one 5 kg vermicompost. Next day I put plants in every pot. I did seeding for kitchen spices. Dhaniya (Coriander), Sarson (Mustard), Methi (Fenugreek), Kheera (Cucumber), Tamatar (Tomato), Ajwain (Carom seed) Jeera, (Cumin seed) and Rai (small seeds looks like black mustard).

Rainy season is the best season to grow from cutting.Though i don't have all plants which I always wished for. But m happy to see my plants every morning.

    1. Indeed 😀.
My experience says now, DIY saves money and give courage to do better. Gives confidence.I am really feeling very proud of my self. Now i think about those people who has created YouTube channel or articles on DIY. They must be feeling very relieved.
