Interaction With Nature

I did propagate a few more plants and it worked for me. I was thinking about the current situation (Corona Virus and breathing problem). Pollution seems under control (due to COVID-19 n Lockdown) as per records. At Least it's better than earlier. However we need fresh Oxygen too. Everyone can not roam around freely in parks, children and our grandparents are the most sensitive people. So, it's better to have plants in our houses. At Least we can grow one plant in each house.  If I recall, a gardener used to visit my house monthly or Bi-Weekly. But it was in my childhood. i never paid much attention to it. I have been growing plants in normal soil (chikni mitti ) or garden soil. I saw on videos that if you want to grow plants ,you need to have good soil. Add some compost and or put fertilizer in plants after 15 days or so. I personally never bought coco-peat or gardening related belongings. Jade Plant So, I bought some Upla (cow dung cake). Hi everyone. In my last blog I mentioned that I tried propagating plants but it never worked for me. This year in 2020, during the lockdown, every one was disheartened by COVID-19. People are unemployed. No food to feed the family, corona is spreading world-widely. Number of cases are increasing everyday. Yet everyone is fighting with daily challenges. Apart from these issues one more thing was also spreading, "Depression". Due to lockdown people were bound to stay home. What to do?  I felt like there is nothing left in life. Life became more challenging and stressful. During the lockdown I propagated a few plants. Chameli ( Jasmine ),  Aloe Vera, Besharam ka podha (Portulaca grandiflora/also known as Moss Ross). Portulaca grown easily through stem cutting and suitable for every kind of soil. It does not require much care. The plant needs direct Sunlight to Bloom. It can be grown in Pots or Garden or in Hanging Baskets. It loves dry hot weather and so during the lockdown I

Because we liked to collect them, either for our happiness or for others. While coming back from school I used to cross the small gardens. Which were created outside of the houses. Mostly, during the daytime, no one used to be around and a bunch of school kids used to pluck flowers and /or fruits.  Sometimes, kids used to stand under the tree and wait for Gulmohar (Royal Poinciana) flowers to fall down . So, we kids can fight with flower's Stamen 😆😆. Those were the best days of life.  Everyone grew up with good, funny and naughty memories with plants. If I think about my childhood, I always loved climbing on trees and plucking fruits like Shahtoot (Dwarf Mulberry), Jamun (Black Plum), Ber (Jujube), Aadu (Peach), Anaar (Pomegranate) etc. I always loved watering them.it was all fun for me. I was quite naughty or wicked
